Fellow flourisher and former Cold War enemy Andrei Jikh has just posted up this phenomenal, power-packed passion-punch of pure precision as a submission to Nikon’s Your Day in 140 Seconds or Less contest. It’s beautifully shot, and fantastically choreographed to boot. Plus, the fact that he uses an award-winning* flourish like 2πr at the 1:12 mark goes to show that Andrei is still a dedicated student of a master the masters.
As an official submission Andrei stands to win either $25,000 or $100,000, which you can help out on by sharing the video with as many people as possible. Comments are also appreciated; after all, it only takes about half a minute to register.

Hey, I was just wondering if you’re still working on some card videos (either with The Virts, or as solo projects) for the not-so-new year. I think I remember you mentioning a slew of tutorials or projects or something along those lines, and I wanted to see if you guys are on one of those “indefinite hiatus” periods (or if the wait is a result of the standard editing times and whatnot).
