To-do, To the Point

Objectified

Just pre-ordered the new documentary by Helvetica director Gary Hustwit. I’ve been looking forward to seeing this movie for a while, not just because it’s been touted as one of the best films about design out there, or because you get to see a super-exclusive behind-the-scenes look into the Apple headquarters, but also because the soundtrack once again includes several tracks from my all-time favorites El Ten Eleven, whose ambient instrumentals make any and every video or movie they’re attached to better by definition.

If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, be sure to check it out after the jump.

Came across this cool iPhone app this morning. It doesn’t actually do anything per se, but it’s free and beautiful to marvel at so I figured I’d mention it anyway.

In the app you’re given the four seasons to choose from, and depending on the one you pick it’ll animate a page of text in accordance to that season’s behavior. The screenshot below depicts a tornado in autumn… or even a parking lot, maybe.
