Kind of a random question, but how do you rig a camera for an over-the-shoulder shot in your tutorials? I wasn’t sure if you used a tripod or not, but I’ve been attempting to film my own and the best idea I’ve come up with has been a pillow tower XD
I might be missing some blatantly obvious solution, haha :P
For those shots I had the camera mounted on a tripod, which I stood behind and wrapped my arms around in a Heimlich-Manuever-esque fashion.
Incidentally, a tripod is certainly a great asset to have around when you’re making movies. Yup, folks—movies! Y’know, what this comments section should be about!

That’s the next thing I need to buy, that’s for sure. But, thanks, I may have to try filming them that way. I appreciate the response!
Thanks for the vid man, this inspired me to watch Invictus, Up in the Air, The Soloist, Night at the Museum 2, Star Trek and The Taking of Pelham 123
6 Movies I likely wouldn’t have watched any time soon, or at all, if you didn’t share :)
Great to hear that! Incidentally, what were some of your favorites out of 2009?
