I think it sounds rather silly really. A computer that loses all your files when it’s offline. A computer that has to redownload all your files whenever you want to open them. I see it working for netbooks maybe, but as a serious Operating System I just don’t see it catching on.
yeah maybe netbooks but you still need all the other stuff, how would stuff get made to get on the internet in the first place.
maybe if you could boot up into chrome and start browsing the internet while your computer slowly loads your system in the background would work, and it would be good for netbooks, but they would have to be really cheap to bother getting one
