Aoch… You use Sony Vegas still Kev? Or have you changed to Final?
@Stein:
It’s a long story. When I first switched over to Mac, I was still using Vegas on a Windows XP partition I made. It ended being overly complicated and slow, so I decided to forgo Windows altogether.
Over the summer I did a lot of research into Adobe Premiere CS3 for Mac, and for a while I was really enthusiastic about using it. But as soon as I shot some stuff with my HV30 and started importing and editing the footage, I realized that the work flow and speed wasn’t as efficient as I had thought it would be.
So then I finally tried out Final Cut Pro, and I haven’t gone back since. It’s not without its flaws, of course, but it’s the best editing system for my needs and experience at the moment.

Thanks for the reply. Interesting.
So; when you first go Final Cut Pro, you never go back? =P
@Stein:
Haha… I dare you to ask Allan Hagen that question.
-Kev
Awwww. I don’t even wanna think about what he would do. Maybe he would smash me down with a spade: http://steinvegard.deviantart.com/art/Ace-of-Spades-65603237 , like he did with this poor guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wwvL6r9Ku0 (at 5:15).
Many professional Editors are switching to Final Cut. Hell, I cut all the commercials with it now. Too cheap to pass by.
Kevin you Tagger :P
and yeah it’s true once you go final cut pro you never go back :D

I’m a professional editor and I endorse this pro Final Cut Pro message.
Haha, it’s so true. Once you go FCP, you don’t go back. =D
Ah, no, Stein, no smashing down with spades. However, I’ll have to think of something else that’s pretty rad and cruel.
